Other Committees

Social Committee is responsible for planning community-wide events to promote relationships with our neighbors and to work on outreach opportunities for the community at large. Various events are scheduled throughout the year.  In addition, they will provide every new homeowner with a Welcome Bag, filled with information to get them up to speed on the community. Chairs: Peggie Houghton and Paula Blonder.

Security Committee is focused to ensure the safety of all our homeowners.  The community is patrolled nightly, and our sophisticated camera system is in place to track incoming and outgoing traffic.  Our professional security team performs many tasks and has the distinction of monitoring as one of the safest community in Volusia County. Chair: Audrey Gallagher

Government Affairs and Grants is tasked with developing governmental contacts within the County and the State level to garner support for our community. In addition, they research available grants to be used to improve our community and to solve any issues. Chair: Tom Billings

Grapevine Committee works with a publisher on a quarterly community magazine that features articles from our Board of Directors, human interest stories on our community members and happenings within the DeBary Plantation community. Chair: Prebble Bonett

Garage Sale Coordinator manages the most popular committee in the community.  Signs are provided to assist homeowners in advertising their residential sales.  Chair: Prebble Bonett

Special Committees are formed by the President, from time to time, on a short-term basis to address current issues. These are temporary and exist to serve the Master Board in fact finding and problem-solving on specific projects. These committees will be disbanded upon completion of the project.
